When to Schedule an Eye Exam for Your Child
The Canadian Association of Optometrists recommends a child’s first comprehensive eye exam at six months of age, again at three years, and every year after starting school. Because children’s eyes develop rapidly, early and routine exams help us catch and address problems before they interfere with reading, learning, or development.
