Dr. Brennan Nelson was born and raised in Sherwood Park, Alberta. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta, he was accepted into the Optometry Program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During his final year, Dr. Nelson completed externships at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where he gained invaluable clinical experience.
At Bascom Palmer, Dr. Nelson rotated through various specialized clinics, including Neuro-Ophthalmology, Glaucoma, Corneal Disease, Pediatrics, Uveitis, Retinal Care, and Primary Care. Dr Nelson is excited to continue to provide the most up to date treatment options available, and highest eye care possible to the community.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Nelson enjoys playing hockey and baseball, fishing, and spending time with his family!
