Dr. Tromposch finds the most rewarding part of her work to be addressing her patients' vision concerns, helping them see clearly, and educating them on their treatment options. She earned her BSc from the University of Alberta in 1981 and her Doctorate in Optometry in 1985. Over the years, her interests have evolved, initially focusing on vision therapy and sports vision. Today, her special interests include scleral contact lenses, dry eye disease treatment, and family practice.
Dr. Tromposch has dedicated time as a volunteer on the competency board and has served as an investigator for the College of Optometry. She also consults with Health Canada and Blue Cross on optometric matters.
Fitness plays a big role in her life—she enjoys cycling, golfing, and going to the gym. Gardening is another passion of hers. Additionally, she has volunteered as an official at sprint canoe and kayak events at both the provincial and national levels.
